Miss Universe Weight Requirement
Now I’m not sure what the Miss Universe Weight Requirement is, to be honest i dont even know of there is a weight requirement minimum or maximum. And thats not why I am really writing this post.
You see there is always the argument that all kinds of models are too skinny and that some are dangerously under-weight. Therefor this gives the wrong image to men, women, boys and girls all over the world. Now if someone is dangerously under-weight then I couldnt agree more – its not healthy!
However if we went to the other end of the spectrum and looked at plus sized models, are they just as unhealthy? Is this also portraying the wrong image to the public? After all obesity is a massive problem in many developed countries, most of all the US.
Now I know that I would much prefer to see all models looking strong and fit. A sporty body, with defined muscular strength and a strong healthy posture is far more attractive to look at and it is absolutely way more healthy.
Shouldn’t we be celebrating someone that has great health and someone that takes care of their body?
Let me know your thoughts….I’d love to hear what you think!

Kate Middleton Workout Routine-Fitness Regime For Kate’s Wedding Exercise.
Well I am writing this Kate Middleton Workout Routine on Friday, April 29, about one hour before Prince William marries Kate Middleton at Westminster Abbey in London, UK. Every woman around the world appears to have her eyes attached firmly on the figure of Kate Middleton.
If you found this post then you are no doubt looking for the bride’s workouts fitness routine, the exercise regime that’s given Kate her wedding figure fit for the future king of Great Britain.
So what exactly is Kate doing to look so good, keep in shape and keep the weight off?
This is what we think she has been up to as far as exercise is concerned. Copy her routine by clicking - Kate Middleton Fitness Routine
Well obviously the private life of the Princess is kept under lock and key, what we see through the press isn’t going to reveal exactly what she’s doing to work-out and diet. I must also say that there has been loads of speculation about the Princess taking part in some rather strange fad diets. Obviously these are not true as Miss Middleton reportedly enjoys a healthy, balanced low glycaemic index diet.
This means she eats food such as fresh fish, fresh vegetables, plenty of fruit and of course clean water to ensure her blood sugar level remains balanced and her digestion remains consistent.

But What about Her Workout?
Again this is kept under palace lock and key, but here are a few inside tips to what we believe she’s been doing and of course the odd paparazzi shot of her actually working out.
Run Your Crown off. The Princess appears to run on a regular basis. Obviously we all know how good running can be as it’s a great way to shed the extra pounds and give yourself a great cardiovascular workout. My warning to you is to run on soft ground such as grass to begin with and make sure you have a proper pair of running shoes.
The high impact nature of running means that if you’re not careful it can result in injury, so get some advice off a running specialist first.
Row In the Royal Gala. Now Kate doesn’t actually wrote in any competitions, but she does apparently use a rowing machine in the gym. This is an incredible low impact exercise, it works the legs from the calf muscles through to the thigh muscles. It also works the back and the biceps as you pull the bar and chain close to your chest. 15 minutes on this three times a week is going to give you a great workout alone.
Resistance Training. Using some good old-fashioned resistance training and weightlifting is a great way to build strength, bone density and beautiful sculpted muscle. You can do this at home with bodyweight exercises, but it’s a great way to follow a proper workout routine and use some specialised gym equipment.

Stretch with the best. Stretching and flexibility and of course core strength is crucial to someone wanting a figure like the bride. Reportedly she gets all of her stretching and flexibility exercises from that eastern God of feel good factors, yes you guessed it, Yoga!
There are lots of yoga classes going on all over the place. Why not enrol in a course and add this to your personalised Kate Middleton workout routine.
Get Started Today.
You can develop your own fitness routine just like Kates if you follow the above advice. Run a couple of times a week, Row three times a week, resistance training 2 to 3 times a week and a yoga class once a week. Mix this up with a fantastic healthy diet of fresh fish, lean meat, fresh fruit and plenty of clean water and you will be looking as good as the future Princess.
In our other post on this topic we recommend a routine that we believe will give you a stunning figure, just like Kate Middleton. If that’s what you’re serious about and that’s what you’re after then click here
Workouts for Women, Lower Body
[youtube JHh_6mxaoc4 240 200]
I am in the mood to prepare my body for the upcoming summer. Who doesn’t want a firm and sexy body to flaunt on the beach? I tried doing this exercise on our living room. My husband is totally supportive on my “working out, getting fit and building awesome muscles” program.
This exercise video tutorial is about building the lower part of the body. It focuses on our lower body muscles such as the gluts (buttocks) and it also helps build the abs. The tutorial starts off with a circuit exercise. You put your other foot forward, the other one backward and you start bending your whole body down. Remember that you should maintain an upright position and that your front heel is the one carrying your weight. It’s not that hard to perform really. Do it slowly and don’t overdo yourself or you’ll end up in a hospital. Some people can have a hard time doing this especially when they are a bit overweight. They tend to lose their balance so guys, be careful.
The second exercise featured focuses on the shoulder bridge. Relax and lay down with your legs bended. It’s a simple one and a favourite of mine since I can totally feel my abs and gluts doing its work. You have to put pressure on your heels as you raise your buttocks. Remember, inhale to hold and exhale to release. Again, you can start off slowly so as not to injure yourself.
The last exercise shown was hard for me. It’s called the Heel Squeeze Prone. You have to relax and lay down with your stomach touching the floor. You have to bend your knees in a 90 degree angle, squeeze your heels together while your toes are pointing downwards to the floor. You squeeze your buttocks, lift your legs up and hold on for a second. Remember, inhale to hold and exhale to release.
Try it now! You can actually do this with your hubby at home and get your bodies prep for the upcoming summer.
