You ojnly have to take a quick look at some one like Lady Gaga to know that this woman works out, eats the right food and stays in super fit condition. She has to right? She’s never off the TV screen and she has to be fit for her videos (where she doesn’t wear much) and she has to have great aerobic fitness in order to do her incredible routines in her live shows.
Have you ever tried singing and dancing at the same time? Wow you get out of breath quick! And I love Gaga ‘cos she does actually sing live when she’s bouncing around the stage or TV screen…..and wow she can hold a note or 2 right?
Anyway how does she stay in shape, what does she eat and what are her secrets to keeping super slim trim and toned? Well of course the info that I am sharing in this email is of course simply speculation. The research I gather has not come straight from Lady G’s mouth! No-one on earth really knows exactly what she eats except perhaps her nutritionist or personal trainer.
However it is beleived that she quite simply eats what you would imagine is a very very healthy diet. That being fresh vegetables, salad and fresh fish. Fluids are non-sugary too. If you ate this type of food you would be getting some great nutrition and only consuming low calorie foods, the right proteins, healthy carbs and healthy required fats. You cant really go wrong with this type of food consumption so put this in your diet and your going to get pretty darn healthy.
Now as for workouts again I cant say exactly what she is up to – only her trainer knows. but it is beleived that she uses a device called the Harley Bar. This was invented by health and fitness guru Harley Pasternak. It’s a long thin weighted bar, or should I say a series of bars. You can then select one or many of these bars and screw them together end to end to get the required width of bar and weight that you need for a variety of exercises.
If you have just one bar they aren’t very long and can be used in each hand like a dumbbell. if you screw 2 or 3 together the total weight increases and it can be held like a larger barbell!
Genius idea and it gives you laods of scope for a whole variety of workouts and routines, from bicep curls, over head extensions, bent over rows, squats, deadlifts….the list goes on and on.

Anyway there is no doubt that Kiera Knightley always looks absolutely stunning, especially in the first three movies of this series. She has that incredibly classic beautiful look, matched with effortless modern appeal and of course a stunningly slim and feminine figure to match.

A figure like this Hollywood actress is possible, I’m not saying everyone’s eyes will pop out of their head, but next time you’re on the beach there are certainly going to be more heads turning your way if you follow the type of diet, workout and exercise routine that Miss Knightley follows.
okay, there have been some rumours of this particular lady having an eating disorder will stop I must stress that these are rumours and from our research it appears that she has a very healthy balanced diet.
It appears that she chooses to follow a portion control diet, where she simply it’s smaller portions of any food she likes. So if you want a piece of cake, you can have it, but you have to have a very small portion.
Now this guide is popular with quite a few celebrities, but you must, absolutely, 100%, make sure that you eat nutritious food. You see, small portions will only provide you with a small amount of nutrition and if you ate small hamburgers for a month you can get pretty ill pretty quickly.
Therefore make sure you are eating small amounts of highly nutritious food, fibre, lean protein and slow release carbohydrates. This small portion diet does work and you can eat anything you like, although this is quite a hard diet to follow as you can be left feeling hungry a lot of the time.
In my opinion there are much easier times to follow that just as effective, but don’t rule out Kiera’s method.
Her Workout and Exercise Routine:
Well, one quick glimpse at Keira Knightley and you soon see that this lady is afraid of some hard work. She is slim yet incredibly defined, take a look at her abdominal muscles!
From her figure you can see that she takes part in some pretty intensive strength training to sculpt and tone her frame. This will involve some very particular and direct weight training to build strength and really give muscle groups a good workout.
But you can also see from her figure that she looks slender and supple. Probably down to something like Pilates or yoga.
When I have searched around online there appears to be some evidence of Keira taking part in quite a few sporting activities even things as extreme as boxing. Sports are you enjoyed are a great way to get a good workout, without feeling like you are putting in huge amounts of effort or making huge sacrifices. If you have never tried boxing, perhaps you should, it’s incredibly good fun, an amazing cardio workout, great toning the arms and back and of course you can just work on pads. So no one is going to be actually punching you or making contact with you! Obviously it’s much better this way that you don’t want to get injured!
If you check out your local gym there are probably some women’s Boxercise classes that are non contact and a great laugh!

Beyonce Knowles is one of the music industry’s most talented artists. She is well-known for her melodic yet powerful voice, her provocative yet unapologetic style and of course, her voluptuous yet sexy figure. What begs most to question is that, just a few weeks before going on shows or television appearances, Beyonce Knowles is captured by the paparazzi looking a few sizes larger than most would expect—how does she drop those added sizes in such a short amount of time?
The answer to that question is a long-standing diet plan known as either the lemonade diet or the master cleanse diet.
Well at least that is what we are led to believe, but there’s no hard evidence to say that Beyonce is on or has used this diet method. All we know is that this natural solution gives you a great cleanse and aids weight loss.
Here’s how to do it:
• Step 1: Get to know the secret recipe. To make one glass of the master cleanse diet recipe, you will need 2 tablespoons of organic lemonade juice, 2 tablespoons of organic grade B maple syrup, 1/10 teaspoons cayenne pepper and 10 ounces of clean, filtered water. Combine the ingredients in a sizeable liquid container, close the lid then shake thoroughly.
• Step 2: Be familiar with the regimen. The master cleanse diet requires you to consume at least 60 ounces of the lemonade drink mix within a day without exceeding 120 ounces. It requires that you drink the lemonade mix for at least 10 days while consuming and drinking nothing else.
• Step 3: Be prepared. The master cleanse diet is designed not only to help one lose weight but also achieve a healthier body all-in-all. It is said that if done properly, the master cleanse diet can clean out one’s colon, purify one’s blood and restore hormone levels back to normal; although these are all beneficial effects in the long run, during the master cleanse itself, it can make things very difficult.
Throughout the 10 day period, one is most likely to feel slightly lower in energy than usual and very hungry. Because one is not allowed to consume anything other than the lemonade drink mix, one’s stomach will feel empty and upset. In addition to these, one should expect to have to use the bathroom many times throughout the day. Given these side-effects, it is important that one does the master cleanse diet during a time wherein one will not need to exert oneself or even leave the house too often.
After the 10 day period of the master cleanse diet, it is said that the purgative measures are all worth it. The results include immense weight loss (up to 20 pounds!), higher energy levels, clearer skin and a faster metabolism. One should keep in mind, however, that the master cleanse diet is not something that will work if the rules are broken; that is, if one sneaks in small bites of food during the 10 day period or if one stops the diet altogether before the 10 days are over.
Although it can help one achieve amazing weight-loss results in a short period of time, it is nowhere near being easy to do. If you are interested in doing the master cleanse diet, make sure that you are both physically and mentally prepared for the challenge.

Well this is one of her secrets as she tends to go running for around 1 hour a day but she often goes with friends so they can chat, gossip and laugh as they plod along.
How cool is that idea? Get a training partner that loves the same stuff as you, like a girlfriend who loves shopping?
Ok, so we already know that Reese W likes to run for around 1 hour a day. Now if you have never ran before then 1 hour is going to be very hard, so build up to it gradually over a period of time. Another tip is to run on soft ground or on a treadmill at the gym so that you avoid any injuries caused by the impact of running.
If running isnt your thing then you could always try another cardio exercise such as rowing, cycling or swimming. But dont forget….do it with a friend so you can chat and have fun. The time will go so much quicker and you will enjoy the process even more!

Aside from running around 3 miles ever day the hollywood star is also allegedly using some interval training and intense Yoga sessions to tone up and get that firm but slender figure that makes her look so good on the red carpet. Now yoga is a great way to not only increase your flexibility but to also energise your whole mind and body with controlled deep breathing and meditation.
The interval training side of things is great for burning fat to keep you very slim. Interval training is a method of varying high intensity cardio exercise with periods of rest. This causes spikes in heart and lung rate causing the body to very quickly dig into and burn its energy reserves, ie: fat.
There are some great programs ut there that use interval training and show you how to cram this into a daily routine, resulting in 30-45 minute interval sessions 3-4 times per week.
The Diet Secrets:
OK this bit is amazing as it appears that Reese Witherspoon has no secrets at all. Reportedly she eats small portions of nourishing food on a regular basis. She eats 3 meals a day and sticks to good quality healthy foods that are of course low in fat.
Imagine eating fruits, shakes and yoghurts for breakfast. Salads for lunch and then simple fish or chicken for an evening meal. Now that mixed with plenty of clean fresh water is going to keep you energized so you can work out, its going to keep hunger pains at bay and its going to ensure that you are absolutely healthy and getting all of the right nutrition for your entire body and mind.
If you follow Reese’s simple routines, diets and secrets then you are no doubt going to see some great results with your figure very quickly.

Before I go any further and talk about the Angelina Jolie workout or the Angelina Jolie diet, I must stress a few things. First of all there is no official workout or diet that has been released from this a list celebrity actress, but who knows there may be one soon. Secondly before you venture into any diet or fitness regime it is imperative that you speak to your doctor to get professional medical advice.
When you look at Angelina Jolie, what do you see? A skinny supermodel or a sculpted athletic figure fit for Tomb Raider? There is absolutely no doubt that this Hollywood superstar has some sculpted and toned muscles, as well as a low body fat percentage.
So if you really want to look like the wife of Brad, then you are going to not only have to diet to shed any excess pounds, but you are also going to have to start working out in order to develop lean and elegant muscle tone just like the lady in question.
She doesn’t play roles like Lara Croft Tomb Raider for nothing you know!
Now when you look at Angelina, you notice she has long lean legs with no bulky muscle. You will also notice that she has a great set of arms and shoulders. So you’re going to have to work the upper body to get this kind of figure.
For lean legs that don’t have bulky muscle, stick to exercises that use your bodyweight only and don’t push too hard because you are not wanted to put the muscle through trauma. Trauma makes the muscle grow large – you want lean muscles.
Try to focus on lunges and squats with light or no weights. Check out this video to give you some ideas:
for the upper body and toned arms, again you want to concentrate on bodyweight exercises and lighter resistance with light weights. Push-ups are fantastic for not only the chest, but also the tricep muscles at the back of the arms. Keep these toned and you will never have any bingo wings!
Grabbing a set of light dumbbells and regularly doing your bicep curls will be great for the front of your home and your forearms to. You can use the same weights for some basic shoulder presses, but always remember to keep your knees bent when doing this exercise to take the strain off your lower back. Check out the videos below:

As I said at the start of the post, this Jolie has not released an official diet that she sticks to. However when you look at her extremely trim figure and low body fat index it’s obvious to get an idea of her nutrition plan.
- She probably steers away from red meat.
- She has no sugar in her diet.
- She drinks a lot of clean fresh water every day.
- She consumes fresh fruit.
- She eats fresh vegetables that are low in, hydrate is, so no sweet corn!
Of course this is mere speculation as we don’t know exactly what she eats on a day to day basis. However if you follow some of the above tips and what some of the exercises you’re sure to start shaping up. Will you be able to marry Brad? Well that’s for him to decide.
So you have no doubt been researching the Tracy Anderson Workout Method and routine, looking to see if all of the bold claims from the method and A-list celebrity clients really are true. Will you be able to shape your body to perfection just as Anderson says? Will you be able to lose weight, tone up and even make your body smaller?

I really love Tracy’s approach to muscle development – she isn’t putting muscles through stressful workouts that cause trauma and bulk. She actually teaches you to work the smaller muscles that wrap around the larger ones, pulling them in, sculpting them and causing your body to become smaller and tighter. Just like the workouts that I talk about on this blog, tone, NOT masculine bulk.
The latest release from the fitness expert to the stars is a 30 day Method. It has several parts such as the Muscle Design Work that is 3 cycles of 10 days, showing great muscle workouts that always keep your body guessing, after all muscles can get bored so changing up routines on a regular basis helps to accelerate the positive result we want.
There is also a Cardio section in the book that is focused on some 10 minute dance routines. All of these rug cutting moves are demonstrated on an inclusive DVD of which you can start off gently and then build up to a ful 6 minute cardio vascular routine.
Of course to complete the 30 day plan there is a whole diet and nutrition section. This is split into 2 sections. The first is a 25 day meal plan with recipes included and eveything on it looks mouth watering, which is good news – no cabbage sandwiches! The final 5 days is a cleansing section called a Performance Cleanse – this is going to purify our whole body like all cleanses do, but added onto a great 25 day diet, cardio workouts and muscle toning, it is going to totally supercharge your results.
Its worthwhile checking out a few of her other books and DVD’s to see if there is a particular one that really suits your needs. If you are srious you could always combine a few of them and perform them 1 after the other. This way you could have an ongoing workout that lasts for months and months where your figure, diet and body is constantly improving and constantly transforming into the figure you have always dreamed of.

It’s true, at time of writing Christie Brinkley is 57 years old. You probably know this actress and again at time of writing that she is in the incredible Chicago musical currently running in New York. Just recently she has been snapped showing off her incredible figure, beauty and a great set of legs to match.
How does a busy actress working on one of the world’s most successful musicals find time to look this good? How does anyone at the age of 57 keep such a fresh face, stunning figure and long toned legs?
Well she has revealed all!
Unfortunately for us she doesn’t swear by eating burgers, pizzas and hot dogs five times a day like you hear some crazy Hollywood stars talk about.
Nope in fact she talks about eating a balanced diet and exercising all the time. What I really love about this is that she doesn’t talk about going to the gym every waking minute or working with a personal trainer for six hours everyday.
In fact she finds ways to work out and exercise was doing day-to-day activities in the house. For example when she is blow drying her hair she lowers herself into a sitting position where there is no chair. This is obviously a great workout for her quadricep muscles and buttock muscles. Not to mention she has to keep balance by engaging her core stomach muscles.
She also talks about standing on one leg when she is pushing her teeth and holding the other leg up behind, again engaging the buttock muscles. This is her secret and it’s what keeps her looking fantastic. That and a nutritious, well-balanced diet.
So what can you do?
Okay here’s a few ideas to add to the two above.
Leave a heavy bag at the bottom of the stairs. Every time you need to go up the stairs, left the bag and carried on with it. The added weight will give you some great resistance and give a great workout to your legs. Once you reach the top of the stairs place the bag on the floor in a sensible place and when it comes to descending the stairs pick it up and repeat the process.
Christie Brinkley also states that she performs 100 push-ups a day. Now this might take some of you a lot of time. But what about when you’re standing around waiting to use the bathroom, or even waiting for that microwave to finally ping. Do you think you could push out 10 push-ups? Absolutely. If you do this every time you’re waiting on something you could easily rack up 50 push-ups in a day.
What about if you are lying leg raises when you are relaxing on your bed. This could easily be done first thing in the morning when you wake. Simply lie on your back with your hands by your side, keep your legs straight and left it straight up from your hip and then lower back down. 10 of these on each side will give a great workout for your hips and again your stomach muscles.
I know initially this seems like a crazy idea, but if you add in a few of these simple exercises whilst you are standing around brushing your teeth, drying your hair, lying in bed, waiting for your husband to get ready before you can go out, then you are going to start to see some changes in your body.
